Taylor Melton first started Clover and Birch for supplemental income after leaving her corporate job to care for her first daughter. The business gave her a means of support after her marriage breakup, and eventually, she chose to jump in and take a chance on her dream full-time. Taylor is an experienced woodworker and gains inspiration for Clover and Birch's products from her three children. She also has a business grant and mentorship program that helps other mothers start small businesses.
Clover and Birch is a USA-made business based in Marietta, Georgia. Owner Taylor hand selects the lumber used for Clover and Birch’s range from a local small business, and then she or a Clover and Birch contractor turn that lumber into gorgeous, one-of-a-kind toys. The toys are sanded extra smooth and sealed with organic coconut oil or beeswax so they’re safe for little mouths.
