Likewoah Handmade founder Sam was 14-years-old when she started crocheting. The first iteration of her business came during high school, when she started selling her finished products. Eventually, Sam launched Likewoah Handmade in 2015 and started selling supplies, DIY kits, and patterns in addition to completed items. She operates both Likewoah Handmade and small business mentoring programs from her insanely adorable studio in Portland, Oregon.
Given the name, it won’t surprise anyone to hear that Likewoah Handmade’s products are handmade by founder Sam from her backyard studio in Portland, Oregon. Sam takes pride in sourcing environmentally-friendly materials and packaging and is careful about wasting as little as possible. Reusing macrame cord scraps even led to Sam starting Likewoah Handmade’s jewelry and keychain range. Because Likewoah Handmade’s products are all made by Sam, each piece is unique, making them extra special.
