When Shanel Sosa found out she was pregnant, she wanted to build a lifestyle that would enable her to stay at home with her daughter. Inspired by her professional experience and passion for both art and cooking, she blended the two and started My Miniature Kitchen. The business is now Shanel’s full-time job, enabling her to work from home with her one-year-old daughter by her side.
Owner Shanel carefully handcrafts each teeny, tiny piece of food that comes out of My Miniature Kitchen. Using high-quality polymer clay, Shanel first makes the base of her culinary creations before adding the texture and fine details that make them look exactly like the real thing but smaller. My Miniature Kitchen items come as earrings, necklaces, keychains, or bracelets, all of which are lead and nickel-free.
