While working in branding, Danielle bought a letterpress and fell in love with printing custom wedding invitations, stationery, and greeting cards. Buoyed by her love of creating cards and working with customers, Danielle started Onderkast Studio and hasn’t looked back. Along with creating stationery with her trusty letterpress, Chester, Danielle also makes cups, glasses, coasters, and stickers. She finds her most inspiring ideas come late at night, jotting down ideas on her phone and trying to bring them to life the following day.
Onderkast Studio is based in Dallas, Texas, and run by founder Danielle with the help of her 100-year-old letterpress, Chester. A typical day sees Danielle working through the design ideas, creating new products, and packing up orders. All Onderkast invitations, greeting cards, and stationery are Danielle’s designs, which are then brought to life on a photopolymer plate and pressed onto paper and card by Chester the letterpress.
